That small beginning has continued to this day.

In 'Ecclesia'
Up to the present day

In 1989, a little over twenty Korean residents
We gathered with the desire to “sing together.”

Chorus is not about one person's voice disappearing, but about listening to each other's voices to create a greater resonance.
The San Francisco Korean Master Chorale carries on the Korean sentiment and choral music in the Bay Area. Members of different generations and backgrounds come together to meet people and share their hearts through song.
Every year, about 60 members perform classical masterpieces, sacred music, Korean art songs, and folk songs on stage with a full orchestra.

Pride in a tradition that has continued for over 30 years
The joy of the members that shines through with every song is the strength of this choir. That joy comes together as one voice to warmly touch the hearts of the audience.
